New Zealand Rifleman (Mom’s Bird)

For an assignment to make a bird in Design Fundamentals (10th grade), I created a Rifleman bird. I chose to make this bird because of the colors of its feathers and shape. I take great pride in that my teacher at the time was so happy with my design that she stepped out of the class to show others. I’ve affectionately call it Mom’s Bird now, as my mother has it prominently displayed in our kitchen window.
